Changes and Changes

 

If you  are actually thinking that i am going to talk about the end of the world then you are absolutely wrong. Most people are busy decorating their houses and some are busy enjoying their holidays. Some students including me are busy setting their room to create a great revision atmosphere for 2012.

How to create the best atmosphere to study?

The first thing that comes to your mind is preparing your room itself but the world is changing we should start preparing our PC or laptop. Oh, yeah seems crazy...I will justify myself.

Have you ever thought, you spend most of your time on facebook or infront of your PC?

If you could actually spend, part of the time revising it would have been better.

1. You check your Facebook every hour of every day.
2. You can recite wall posts, newsfeeds and friends’ profiles.
3. You check Facebook before anything else.
4. You use Facebook to follow current news.
5. You are on Facebook during important non-Facebook moments.
6. You’ve got carpal tunnel, burning eyes and a hunchback.
7. You get mad when Facebook changes the layout.
8. You comment on or “like” everyone’s pictures or posts.

"Yes, facebook is a drug for you. I am nt going to grade you in terms of % but you are addicted man.. "

How to actually prevent yourself from accessing facebook too much?

1. Switch to google+ or another social network which is not as good as facebook.

2.Deactivate your account or ask a friend to change the password and never give it to you but you will lose your friends :P.

3.The best idea is to switch to linux(kubuntu or ubuntu).

 

Yeah, some of you are thinking but it has a browser and the MyT is there. No, guys the main reason is actually switching from one os to another os will encourage you to learn how to navigate through and also how to install your softwares from the terminal.

"Your mind itself will tell you, i have to log in face the windows around. Forget it ..."

It will actually, encourage you to cut off your amount of time you spend on face-book. In the mean time, you can try to join other social networks like GOOGLE+. With time, you will see you will forget.

How to actually customize Ubuntu for learning: 

 

All linux users are cool guys or cool girls. It is something like "TEcha" type. Linux-Ubuntu comes with office packages like libre-office. You can create powerpoints and also documents. You can easily view pdf notes. As a computer science, i have optimised it for learning.

I have included all my programming platforms to be used  on ubuntu like eclipse and the kate editor. I am absolutely going fine with ubuntu, i have cut the amount i spend on facebook, when i am stressed i listen to music either on you-tube or on my own music player on linux.
